Áine Greaney grew up on a small farm in County Mayo, Ireland. In the mid 1980s, she became one of the estimated 200,000 young Irish who emigrated to the U.S.

In America, her work has been cited in “Best American Essays,” and her second novel, “Dance Lessons” was named a “great group read” by the Women’s National Book Association. Her essay, “Sanctuary” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Her new book, “Trespassers and Other Stories” is now available for pre-order. This transatlantic collection of literary short fiction will be published in March 2025.

A trained teacher, she has designed and led creative and wellness writing workshops for 20+ years.
